Lahore: The Pakistan government has cancelled Pakistani passport of JKLF Chairman Amanullah Khan as his name has been put on the exit control list, reports the BBC. Amanullah had on Wednesday submitted an application at the Rawalpindi passport office for the issuance of new passport as the existing was expiring on Saturday (today), JKLF spokesman Raja Mazhar Iqbal said on Friday. He further said that the concerned officials had told the JKLF chief to get his new passport on Thursday last and cancelled the old one, adding 'when Amanullah went to the passport office to get his new passport on Thursday, the officials told him that as his name is on the exit control list and he cannot travel out of Pakistan, new passport cannot be issued to him.'
