Srinagar: A Pakistan-based terrorist group on Tuesday threatened journalists with death for publishing reports harmful to terrorist campaign in Kashmir, local media reported. Abd-ar-Rabb, the name used by the local chief commander of the Tehrik-ul-Mujahideen group, warned journalists of serious consequences if their reports were 'anti- freedom struggle,' reported Current News Service, a local news agency. The statement cited by the news agency did not name any newspaper or news agency. 'There are seven dailies among the local ones and a well-known news agency which work at the behest of the Indian (intelligence) agencies and are paid by them,' Abd-ar-Rabb said in the statement. 'We inform such journalists that they will be killed if they fail to mend their ways,'the statement said.
