Bid to storm Army camp foiled in J&K

Srinagar: Indian soldiers gunned down two terrorists who tried to mount a suicide attack on a camp of an elite counter-insurgency unit in Jammu and Kashmir early Tuesday. Police sources said three to five terrorists tried to storm the Sector 7 headquarters of Rashtriya Rifles in Dragmullah village in Kupwara district. But alert soldiers noticed the suspicious movement and opened fire, killing two of the suicide bombers. The others escaped. Soldiers cordoned off the area and launched a search for those who escaped.
