Srinagar: The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Thursday warned the Hizb-ul Mujahideen (HuM) against interfering in its affairs and trying to impose supremacy over other outfits. According to a local news agency, the divisional commander of the LeT, Abu Asam, said in a statement that outfits like the Laskhar-e-Jabbar and the Hi-Alal-Falah were a creation of the government of India. The wrongdoings of such outfits were aimed at denigrating the image of front line militant outfits, especially the LeT, the news agency quoted the divisional commander as saying. The Lashkar-e-Jabbar came into prominence after it ordered the women in the Valley to wear burqas last year. Recently, it issued a similar diktat to the women in Jammuís Rajouri region. The statement comes a day after the security forces recovered the body of Lashkar militant Abu Janbaz. He was killed in an inter-group clash with the HuM at Kokarnag in Anantnag on Wednesday.
