APHC thanks Iran for support to Kashmiris

NEW DELHI: All Parties Hurriyat Conference expressed gratitude to Iran for extending support to the Kashmiri freedom struggle and concern over the human rights violations in Indian Held Kashmir.An APHC delegation, led by Chief patron of Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, Molvi Mohammad Abbas Ansari and Chief of Kashmir Awareness Bureau, Shabbir Ahmed Dar met the Iranian President Mohammed Khatami and expressed thanks for his support to the cause of Kashmir struggle.The delegation met the Iranian President Khatami at a meeting held in Iran Cultural House here on the invitation of Iranian embassy in New Delhi. Iranian President is on a five-day visit to India.Later, Molvi Mohammad Abbas Ansari said that they also thanked the people of Iran on behalf of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference for their continuous support to the indigenous and just freedom struggle of Kashmir.The Iranian President during the meeting, Molvi Abbas Ansari said, underscored the need of forging unity in the ranks of Muslim Ummah.Chief Patron of Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen Molvi Abbas Ansari also highlighted the human rights violations and atrocities committed by the Indian forces on the innocent Kashmiris, struggling for their right to self-determination while talking to the Iranian President. - APP
