Srinagar: Asking India and Pakistan not to 'play into the hands of external powers', the Hurriyat Conference on Friday said the two countries should start a dialogue process immediately to resolve the Kashmir issue according to the wishes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. 'India and Pakistan should stop being tools in the hands of foreign powers and start a dialogue process to resolve the Kashmir issue for the benefit of the people of the sub-continent', senior Hurriyat leader Moulana Abbas Ansari said here. Ansari said Kashmiri representatives should also be involved in the process to make the talks fruitful. He said a solution to the Kashmir issue needs to be found in the historical perspective to ensure lasting peace in the region.
