PDP minority wing leaders visit migrant camps

Jammu: To make the party stand known to commoners, a delegation of PDP minority wing visited several Kashmiri migrant camps in Jammu and held discussions with people there. The delegation, comprising of Madusudhan Bhat (Verinag), Ashok Sidha, Ashok Ji Raina, Chaman Lal Kachroo, Satesh Pajnu and T K Dhar, apprised people of the PDP agenda to solve their problems. As per release, Mr Madusudhan Bhat assured that migrants that PDP-led Government in Jammu and Kashmir will extend its healing touch to the migrant Kashmiri Pandit community which has been languishing out of their homes in Valley for the last thirteen years. He complimented the Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed with ‘man of his words’ and appealed people to support the party whole heartedly. Mr Ashok Sidha assured the migrants that PDP-led Government has certain programmes on priority basis for the Kashmiri Pandit community and one among them is to provide jobs to one member of each family. Another purpose of the PDP leaders visit to migrant camps was to frame committees of the respective camps so that involvement of the community could be ensured in functioning of the party.
