Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front(JKLF) on Thursday split for the second time with three founder members revolting against the leadership and electing Mohammad Iqbal Gandroo as their leader. Gandroo, Wajahat Qureshi and Khursheed Ahmad Darmade announced parting of ways with Javid Ahmad Mir-led JKLF at a hurriedly-convened press conference in Srinagar. They said they would meet the Hurriyat leadership asking them to expel Mir from the executive council of the amalgam and appoint Gandroo as JKLF representative in it. The JKLF split for the first time when differences cropped up between Kashmir- based leaders with PoK-based leadership of the organisation headed by Amanullah Khan in 1993. Gandroo, Qureshi and Dar said they would take their next step after the release from jail of chairman of the outfit, Mohammad Yaseen Malik.
