Jammu: The terrorist attack on a bus near Jammu on Wednesday morning in which two persons were killed and 13 others injured might be a handiwork of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist outfits, a top Jammu and Kashmir police official indicated. ''Terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba were responsible for most of the these incidents (which took place before and during the polls),'' DGP Jammu and Kashmir AK Suri said. ''There is a desperation among terrorist outfits as the response to the Jammu and Kashmir elections has been tremendously good,'' he said. ''The explosive device had been kept on the fuel tank of the bus, and the vehicle caught fire after the explosion,'' Suri said. The Udhampur- bound bus carrying carrying 15-20 passengers caught fire soon after the explosion around 0625 hours, the sources said.
