Militants kill four of family in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Suspected militants shot dead four members of a family, including two women, in a village in Kashmir, police said Thursday.The assailants armed with pistols and assault rifles barged into the house of Mohammed Khan, a militant who had surrendered, and sprayed the family with bullets, police said.Khan, his wife, sister and brother-in-law were killed on the spot.Police and Army personnel rushed to the village near Bandipora township, 60 km north of Srinagar, and carried out house-to-house searches to find the killers.However, no one has been arrested.
