KUALA LUMPUR: In a setback to Pakistanís efforts to seek the Organisation of Islamic Conferenceís backing in its campaign on Kashmir, the grouping is of the view that the issue should be resolved bilaterally with India. ''This is against Pakistanís hopes to gain OICís support on Kashmir issue,'' Malaysian Foreign Minister and the spokesperson for the OIC ministerial meeting here, Syed Hamid Albar, told PTI. ''This issue should be discussed bilaterally between the two concerned countries,'' Albar said when asked about OICís response to Pakistanís appeal to intervene in Kashmir issue. Pakistan Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider raked up the Kashmir issue in his address at the meeting yesterday and urged OIC to intervene in resolving it.
