NEW DELHI: No significant change appears to have taken place on Indo-Pak border and Line of Control (LoC) after Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf''s statement against terrorist activities, Lok Sabha was told on Friday.''No, Sir, keeping in mind the excessive snowfall this winter, no significant change appears to have taken place'', Minister of State for Home Vidyasagar Rao said answering a written question whether there is any improvement on the border-LoC after Musharraf''s statement.A total of 761 and 530 incidents of border firing from Pakistan side took place during the second fortnight of January, 2002 and first fortnight of February respectively as compared to 691 incidents of border firing during first fortnight of January, he said.Despite troops build up on borders and unfavourable and inclement weather conditions, attempts at infiltration continued and some major infiltration bids have been foiled by security forces between January 13 and February 15, he said.
