New Delhi: The Indian Army has denied a British newspaper report that the US Delta Force and British SAS were searching for Osama bin Laden in Jammu and Kashmir. An Army spokesman, denying the newspaper report, said there was no such operation going on in J&K. He said it was most unlikely that Laden was in Kashmir. His presence in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir has, however, not been ruled out. Londonís Daily Telegraph had carried a story which said that soldiers from the SAS had joined the Delta Force to hunt down Bin Laden. The decision to deploy the elite forces had been taken after the British Prime Minister Tony Blairís visit to India.
