Jammu: Peeved at indiscriminate killings in Jammu and Kashmir perpetrated by Pakistan-based terrorist outfits such as the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), the Hizbul Mujahideen has said such killings only frustrated the efforts for a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue. Talking to UNI here via satellite phone from somewhere in the Pir Panjal mountains, Hizb divisional commander Mohammad Abbas Rahi slammed the recent massacre of eleven people, including nine children, by the LeT in Mendhar area of Poonch district on the night of January 20 and argued that such killings were aimed at negating the efforts for a peaceful solution to the Kashmir imbroglio.
