Srinagar: Security forces have launched a massive operation to track down Jaish- e-Mohammad leader Ghazi Baba in Kokernag and Pahalgam higher reaches in south Kashmir. Sources said security forces have fanned out in the mountainous ridge between Kokernag and Pahalgam, conducting raids on suspected underground hideouts of the Jaish commander. Security and intelligence agencies maintain that the Jaish commander has set up camps for training local youth in arms and ammunition in the belt. Sources said forces were seen heading towards the mountains from Kaprin in Kokernag and Aroo in Pahalgam. The forces are also deployed on strategic points at Baltal-Amarnath cave route to prevent the Jaish leader from escaping towards Kangan and Ganderbal belt.
