SRINAGAR: Pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen on Wednesday refuted media reports about rift in the outfit and said its commander-in-chief Abdul Majid Dar was changed following his own request.Condemning the reports, which it said were aimed at dividing the outfit''s rank and file, Hizbul''s command council said ''there is no truth in the reports claiming that dar was sacked because of differences in the outfit.''Dar under whose command the Hizbul achieved major successes is being considered an outstanding asset for us and he was changed on his own request following his falling health,'' a press release issued here by the command council said.Dar had been at the helm of affairs for a long time and because of his falling health he had approached the command council to relieve him of the responsibilities, it said.Organisational changes were routine to tune up the organisation, the release added.
