JM military advisor among four killed in Valley

SRINAGAR: Four persons including military advisor of a Jamiat-ul-Mujhadeen were killed in different militancy related incidents across Kashmir valley during the last 24 hours.Police said in an encounter at Utrosoo Dabran in Anantnag district two militants were killed. Details reveal that following an information, security force surrounded off the village and started search operation. Militants hiding in the village fired on the forces. In the retaliatory action two militants of Hizb-ul-Mujhadeen were killed. They have been identified as Ubaid Rasheed and Javed Ahmad Gania.A KPS report said military advisor of Jamiat-ul-Mujhadeen Ghulam Nabi Bhat alias Muzamil of Khuroo, Pattan , who was arrested some days ago by security forces has been killed. Quoting Jamait spokesman Jameel Ahmad, the report added that he was one of the front line commanders of the outfit.One person was killed by security forces at Verinag in Anantnag district. A local news agency CNS quoting local people said Arshad Hussain was arrested from his home and later allegedly killed in custody.Militants, police said triggered off an IED near stadium at Baramulla when a horse cart was passing over it. In the incident the cart owner Bial Ahmad suffered injuries while his horse died on the spot.Security forces recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunitions from different militant hide-outs raided during the last 24 hours across Kashmir valley.
