NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has asked Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to arrest and handover to India the terrorists who claimed to have carried out the suicide bomb attack on the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on October 1, External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh said here on Wednesday. Disclosing this at a function here, Singh said when Musharraf had called Vajpayee on the phone and condemned what he called an ''act of terrorism'', Vajpayee told him that the next logical step was to arrest those who claimed to have done it (Jaish-e-Mohammad), apprehend them, arrest them and hand them over to India. ''He (Musharraf) said he would order an inquiry into it,'' Singh added.
