NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman and senior Hurriyat leader Yaseen Malik has been ''traced'' in New York, a day after the 23- party amalgam stated that he could not be contacted after Tuesday''s terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. Hurriyat Spokesman Abdul Majid Bandey said ''contact had been established with Malik last night and he was fine.'' Malik had left for the US earlier this month for medical treatment after seeking permission in the court, which, however, has ordered him to return back in the country by October 31. Malik is facing several proceedings in the various courts of Jammu and Kashmir under TADA for his alleged involvement in kidnapping of daughter of former home minister Mufti Mohammed Saeed and killing of six Indian Air Force personnel in 1990.
