New Delhi: Government on Saturday said there was no move to invite Israeli counter-insurgency experts to train Indian security forces. Describing media reports in this regard as ''mischievous and incorrect'', a defence ministry spokesman here said government would like to make it clear that there was no such programme nor were any Israeli experts being called here to train Indian security force personnel in counter-insurgency training. ''Our forces are competent to deal with terrorism and counter insurgency in the country'', the spokesman declared. Janes terrorism and security monitor had earlier reported that Israeli intelligence agencies had several teams in Kashmir to train Indian security forces in fighting Pakistani trained mercenaries.
