SKARDU : All copies of Weekly K.2 has been forfeited by District Magistrate Skardu Mohammad Akbar Mir after a high-level meeting held in Skardu and case registered against the news agent under section 188 PPC in Skardu Police Station. The Weekly was published on 7th of Feb from Rawalpindi.  This action was taken against the weekly and news agent for violation of the government orders under section 188 PPc, and sale of the papers because the Weekly K.2 was banned four months ago for publishing anti-state articles, and news stories and declaration of the Weekly K.2 was cancelled by the District Magistrate of Skardu who was the declaration authority.  In Skardu responsible authorities were very angry for the new appearance of the Weekly K.2 after cancellation of the declaration and asked the district Magistrate Skardu why and how it was possible for the printer and publisher of the weekly to publish again with the same name. (K.2). Reliable circles are saying that the District Magistrate did not inform the D.Ms in all over the country regarding the cancellation of declaration by D.M Skardu and the printer and former publisher of K.2 Raja Hussain Khan Maqpon took the opportunity to get new declaration in the name of Saleem Bokhari from D.M Rawalpindi with the same name of K.2. It may be mentioned here that a case has been filed in the court of Chief Court at N.As by the former printer and publisher Raja Hussain Khan Maqpon and case is under process.
