Jammu: THE ALL-PARTY Hurriyat Conference is reported to have finalised the four-member team for visiting Pakistan, according to sources. The four probable members are Abdul Ghani Lone, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik. APHC chairman Abdul Ghani Bhat who was given the authority to nominate the delegation at Tuesday's executive council meeting has decided to opt out at the moment, the sources hinted. Geelani represents hard-line attitude and brooks no other solution except Kashmir's merger with Pakistan, while Yasin is for the complete independence of Jammu and Kashmir from both India and Pakistan as the group JKLF that he heads is for the pre-1947 status of the State. Mirwaiz and Lone are moderates who support a realistic solution to Kashmir crisis. Sheikh Abdul Aziz and Moulvi Abbas Ansari are two other members of the Hurriyat executive council. The sources said that efforts were on to persuade Bhat to accompany the delegation. There is also a possibility of Abdul Ghani Bhat going to Pakistan at a later date. Today afternoon Bhat, Lone and Malik airdashed to Delhi for some 'important consultations' with those engaged in track II diplomacy amidst reports that travel documents of all the seven executive council members may be cleared by January 15 to enable them visit Pakistan.
