New Delhi: Suspected Lashkar-e-Tayyeba militant Ashfaq Ahmed, arrested in connection with the Red Fort shootout, on Thursday said the attack on security forces inside the Fort was aimed at opposing the Indian Government''s unilateral ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir. ''The aim behind the attack is to oppose the ceasefire,'' Ahmed told a private TV channel. He said their intention was not to harm any civilian, be it in Kashmir or anywhere else, but to target security personnel. Ahmed said the situation in India was much better than portrayed in Pakistan. ''I wish to send a message to my colleagues that this is not a religious fight, but a war between two countries,'' he said.
