Militants in kashmir use donkey bomb

Jammu: Two BSF jawans were killed and four injured, two seriously, in an IED explosion in Udhampur district on Saturday. Meanwhile, security forces shot dead nine militants in the Jammu region since Friday night, official sources said on Saturday. In the first ever incident involving the use of animals in a decade of militancy in the state, two Border Security Force jawans were killed and four injured when militants triggered an IED, attached to a donkey, inside Lapiree counter-insurgency post in the Gool area of Udhampur district early on Saturday, the sources said. Those killed were identified as constables Lakshman Paswan and Kharo Neelan. Two other constables, Satvir Singh and Shri Lal, were admitted to the Udhampur military hospital in serious condition while two others Jagannath Tiwari and S. Thakur were rushed to a battalion hospital, the sources added. Troops cordoned off the area and began search operations, the sources said.
