Hurriyat leader released

New Delhi: A senior Hurriyat leader was released on Tuesday in Jammu while the chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Mr. Yaseen Malik, continued to be admitted in a private hospital here. Ghulam Nabi Sumzi of the Muslim Conference, one of the constituents of the Hurriyat Conference, was released from Udhampur jail where he was detained since September last under the Public Safety Act (PSA), official sources said. The sources said another senior Hurriyat leader, Mr. Shakeel Bhakshi (JKLF) would also be released soon.
