Pakistani Soldiers buried by Indian Army

Srinagar: Seven Pakistani army soldiers of 12 Northern Light Infantry, who had been killed at Point 4875 in the Drass sector when the position was recaptured by Indian troops on July 7th 1999, were Thursday buried at the same location in accordance with Muslim religious customs. The solemn ceremony which lasted over 30 mins began with the Nimaz-e-Jinaza being offered by the Moulvi of Grenadiers regiment of the Indian Army. The bodies which were in an advanced stage of decomposition were buried together and were given full military respect by draping them with the Pakistan National flag prior to their burial.
