JAMMU: Kashmiri militants held up across the border in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) are so frustrated and disillusioned with Pakistan that they are cursing themselves for falling into the trap of militancy and want to get freed from the shackles of ISI. This has been revealed in a letter of a Hizbul Mujahideen militant Hamid Mehmood, recovered from one of the two foreign mercenaries killed in an encounter recently in Rajouri area, an official release said today. The letter was written by Hamid in Urdu to his brother Mehboob of Doda and it revealed the common sentiments of militants presently camping across the border, the release said, reports PTI.
The militant, in his letter, laments about falling in the trap and indicates maltreatment meted out to him and others by ISI authorities in PoK. "I am fed up with the inhuman environment in which am forced to live and I pray to allah to grant me death," the release quoted the militant as saying in the letter.
