The Pakistani authorities have detained the Kashmiri leader Amanullah Khan as he was about to address a rally in Gilgit in the disputed Northern Areas.
Mr Khan and other leaders of the Jammu-Kashmir Liberation Front have been campaigning for the government to treat the region as part of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
They've now been sent back to Islamabad.
Pakistan has treated the Northern Areas as a separate entity since it was given administrative responsibility and legal control in 1948.
